The terms "he" and "she" denote what philosophers call "natural kinds," namely human creatures that can be differentiated by their physical characteristics, most notably their genitalia. It is an objective distinction, not an attempt to impose any particular identity. Meanwhile, the trans movement is scary for two reasons: first, it puts ideas into the heads of human beings during their crucial formative years, ideas that they would never have considered were it not for "trans" activists who use children as pawns to disseminate their radical take on gender. Second, the trans movement is seeking to outlaw free speech by constantly claiming that merely to disagree with them is to be violent. If that viewpoint prevails in America, it will someday be illegal to call the trans movement into question. I say live and let live, but don't force grade schoolers to question the one thing that should be a given in their life: namely, their sexual identity as defined by their physical characteristics.
